I first started going to the #beginner channel in 1996. I did not chat much (as I am very shy) but enjoyed the time I spent on the channel. In 1997 I changed jobs and just could not seem to find the time to go on IRC. But every once in a while, I would hop on just to see how things were going and to see if I recognized anyone :). In 2002 I caught myself going to #beginner more often and getting to know all of the regulars that haunt the channel...got to the point were I was hanging out in the channel almost every night after work (yes, IRC can be addictive!).

Well, now I am a channel op for #beginner and could not be happier. I love to time I spend in the channel and enjoy helping out there. I want to thank everyone for welcoming me to the #beginner family. You guys and gals are just the best! :))
